Hi,
I try to install Oracle 8.0.4 on Solaris 7/SPARC but get error messages
on Oracle8(RDBMS) package.
I tried to install whole thing or to only one this package with "Install
and create DBMS" or without creation of DBMS objects but I keep getting
this error message: "Relinking Error: The executables for Oracle8(RDBMS)
were not made successfully." The install procedure falls when this file
is on the screen $ORACLE_HOME(the actual path)/rdbms/doc/README.doc.
In the log I read:
OIERR-SYSTEM: make -f ins_rdbms.mk ORACLE_HOME=<actual path> install
Is it possible to overcome this fault?
