I couldn't agree more, but I think "still" is the operative word here. I've never had a client ask about certification; my experience has always been sufficient so far. I guess I just want to make sure I don't fall behind. I don't see how having this credential can hurt any when it comes to promoting myself.

Besides, I've already picked up a few little things I hadn't learned from experience just by studying for the first exam.
