Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.server -> SYS.PROPS$.GLOBAL_DB_NAME wrong?
Hello All!
I've installed Oracle 8.5.0.0 on an AIX 4.3 machine. The ORACLE_SID was set to dbaix02. The rest of the environment was set as recommended. After the installation, which runs without errors, I consult the system table SYS.PROPS$. Now the entry SYS.PROPS$.GLOBAL_DB_NAME has the value 'SH805.world' and not 'dbaix02.world', as expected. What's going wrong?
Thanks in advance for any suggestion.
Regards
Erik Fries
