Hi,

For various reasons that would be tool long to explain here, I still have got an oracle 7.1.6 database running on a solaris 2.5.1 machine.

I need to upgrade the machine (hardware) and install solaris 2.6 on it. I know that oracle has NOT certified 7.1.6 against a solaris 2.6 environment but am wondering if someone actually tried it and what were the results.

If anyone has tried that configuiration, please reply by e-mail as well and tell me how it turned out.

Millions thanks
