We run Oracle 7.1.4 on Digital UNIX 3.2G with C2 Sec turned on, on our production servers. We are also testing Oracle 7.3.2 on Digital UNIX 4.0D, again with C2 Sec, no problems. Of course we always pre-install the OS to have C2 Sec on, so it is not exactly your case, but it is not very different.
C2 Sec introduces new elements into authentication mechanisms, login controls and the overall SIA operations. Since it is only C2 and not Bx, the internal operation of the OS, after authentication, should be the same. We haven't run into any problems with C2, so far.
The only thing that can go wrong (and it shouldn't) when switching to C2 is user account translation. Every account capable of logging in should be converted to a new C2 format. It is done for root automatically. It should be the same for all other accounts. If any account doesn't get converted, you have a command for manual conversion, "convauth".
We'll keep our fingers crossed for you.
Nix.
