On one client computer (NT server 4.0 SP5, German) I cannot connect to an Oracle server using TCP/IP (Client 8.0.3 and server 8.0.3).

I always get error ORA-03121: No interface driver connected

when testing the connection using Net8 assistant.

I have no problems with other computers. Any clues? Of course I removed my TCP/IP network settings and reinstalled them, I reinstalled the Oracle client software. Shall I apply a patch to move to 8.0.5?

I can ping the Oracle NT machine and I can tnsping80 successfully.
