8i on Windows2000 Release Candidate 1

Has anyone tried Oracle8i ( and other products for that matter ) on Windows2000 rc1.

Having successfully installed 8i, Enterprise Manager 2, OAS4071 and Dev2000 r6 server,
I find that although NET8 is configured and service running, I cannot connect to the database
using a TCP TNS entry - I can connect using a local connection.

Any ideas appreciated.
