Caching Problems with ORACLE 8.0.5 and NT/Compaq

Hallo,

we have big Problems with Oracle 8.0.5 in the combination with NT4 (SP4) and Compaq Firmware (Proliant).

At a certain point the cache is running full, even if the statement doesn't return any records, and the server hangs up. Only a cold reboot can restart the server again. This happens many times, it's reproduceable.

Does somebody have similiar problems? We really need information about this problem!!!!
