I downloaded the Oracle OCP assessment test for B/R, and I am having trouble with a question, and I wanted to get some expert input.

1 You recreated the control file as part of a recovery operation. Which file can you now view to see how many control files were recreated? A sys.log
B init.ora
C alert.log
D config.ora

I chose C, but they say B. I know I need to update the init.ora to reflect any control file changes, but having Oracle do that for me automatically is is new to me. Unfortunately I can't model this scenario, so I decided to ask this group. Received on Mon Aug 09 1999 - 23:16:32 CDT
