LONG RAW - Copy problems

Hi,

We have been attempting to transfer LONG RAW data from an old, existing Oracle database to a new one. We have been unsuccessful with our attempts over the last several days at accomplishing this task, using database tools PL/SQL.

In looking through these newsgroups I do not see any real/stable solution to accomplishing this task and it appears to be an issue - it shouldnt be - as far as the Administrator / user is concerned the process should be seamless (ie. SELECT / INSERT SQL should work).

We would appreciate any viable solutions !
