Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.server -> How does one Generate an Error.Log from Ocopy80 During Hot Bkup
Hi!
We are trying to generate an error.log from the following statement during a Hot Backup on NT as follows:
host start /wait ocopy80 C:\DB\ORACLE\CPDB\DATA\CPDBDATA1.DBF
\\node\f$\db\oracle\cpdb\backup || echo failed to copy C:
\DB\ORACLE\CPDB\DATA\CPDBDATA1.DBF >>
\\node\E$\DB\ORACLE\CPDB\BACKUP\error.log
However, the error.log is not generated.
The tablespace is put into backup mode prior to this statement.
Has anyone tried something similiar or know of a work-around?
Any information is greatly appreciated!
