Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.server -> Capturing OCOPY80 msgs frm Hot Backup on NT
Hi!
We are trying to capture the Error Messages from the following Ocopy80 command that resides within a Hot Backup script running on NT:
host start /wait ocopy80
C:\DB\ORACLE\CPDB\DATA\CPDBDATA1.DBF
\\node\f$\db\oracle\cpdb\backup || echo failed to
copy C:\DB\ORACLE\CPDB\DATA\CPDBDATA1.DBF >>
\\node\E$\DB\ORACLE\CPDB\BACKUP\error.log
Prior to this command, the tablespace is put into backup mode.
The command above does not generate the "error.log".
Has anyone tried something similiar or know of a work around? Any information would be greatly appreciated!
