Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.server -> Internal/Oracle 8i NT
I understand from previous posts that the Internal user in version 8 exists only for backwards compatability. There are no older versions on my site than 8.1.5. I had been using internal/oracle for DBA level access because I had not yet set up any DBA users. Last week, after using OEM to change the default installation passwords, I somehow deleted the "Internal" user. I didn't change Internal's password because it wasn't listed as a user in OEM. When I logged on as SYS or System I could not ALTER user Internal's password because now "User does not exist". Questions:
TIA
