Hey guys,
Thanks first of all to all those who responded to the coalesce
question. We are ok now.
Here is another one that I kinda do not know exactly what to do . The
os is NT. The version is 8.05.
The requirement is I want to get the Oracle Instance to talk to the
ODBC source. I do have the Oracle 8 ODBC driver installed. The problem
is what should i give as the sid in the tnsnames.ora ? Basically I am
looking for something that I can use for the service name while the
users are connecting to the data base(the database other than Oracle ,
PI in this instance) via sqlplus.
What does this need ??
