We recently upgraded from Oracle 7.3 to Oracle 8i in a Win NT environment.
We discovered that the latest version of the BDE (which we had to get) only
supported 8.0.5 and NOT 8.1.5. Because the Delphi applications run on the
server, we had to install the 8.0.5 client alongside the 8.1.5 server
software.
