What error are you receiving?

Usually, if the error is esoteric or really heavy, a trace file will be generated in the udump or log directory ($ORACLE_HOME/RDBMS80/log or $ORACLE_HOME/udump).

Most of the time, if there is an error then the message is pretty explanatory.
