ORA-12638: Credential retrieval failed

Hello,



    I'm new to Oracle and I am getting a "ORA-12638: Credential
retrieval failed" error message.  I'm not quite sure what to do.  The
documentation says to turn the logging on to find out what the real
error is.  I do this but I'm not quite sure how to follow the log file
that is generated.  Any help would be appreciated.



I'm using Oracle 8i on a Win NT Server and a Win95 Client
