I don't know a great deal about WebDB, but my understanding (which someone else will undoubtedly correct if I'm wrong) is that WebDB runs on 8.0.5, rather than 8.1. In that case you will need two ORACLE_HOME's. That may explain why the two aren't talking to each other. Can anyone else confirm this?
