catrep.sql - Installaion Problem

I just installed Oracle 8.0.5 on a Sparc w/ Solaris 2.7. Following through with post-installation steps, the documentation says to run the catrep.sql script as the root user. I tried doing this straight from server manager, but after each entry I get : ORA-01012: not logged on

I then tried connect internal to log into server manager, but it asks me for a password. I have tried the password for the oracle account and for the system account when the database was created, but it only comes back with: ORA-01031: insufficient privileges

The installation documentation is fairly well written, but is very vague on this part. Does anybody know how I can get the script to run.

    Thanks.
