I don't know if this helps, but we are using a VB solution - read the Oracle
data via ODBC, and send to Outlook 98 via the MAPI control. So Oracle is
not actually initiating the mail transmission. Vb polls Oracle and sends
any mail waiting in the Oracle tables.
