Increasing the number of redo logs seems to be most effective. Question
yourself what is happening in this case where the logs are switching every
half-minute. Is it something out of the ordinary? When I do a database
import, I get these messages down several pages. Oracle waits perfectly
well for the checkpoint to complete.
