I have worked on both Oracle and Sybase Version 7.0, i have worked on huge volume of data on both sybase and Oracle in terms of terabytes.... and i always Feel Oracle is more better than Sybase b'cos.

  1. Supports for huge volume of data.
  2. Feel Support is more better than Sybase.
  3. Get Very good DBA's in Oracle.
  4. Works flexibly on almost all OS. Regarding the cost wise.. i am sorry i am not much aware about it...
