That was kind of a half answer.
In the profiles you control resources, and one of those resource settings is idle_time. This is what you set to time out a session. Refer to the SQL Reference guide in your documentation for more information.
Keep in mind that you will have an inactive session sitting there until the person tries to do something again, then it will inform them they have been disconnected, and only then will PMON clean up the session.
