If you are running in noarchivelog mode, backup and restore is possible; but
recovery is not possible.
The best you can do is backup all the files with the instance shut down.
In the event of a failure, you can restore your backup.
But since you have no archived logs, you cannot then recover.
You lose all the transactions since that last backup. Are your users keeping track of all their input so they can re-enter it?
If this is understood and acceptable to your users, so be it. But most users think we are fully protecting them against this kind of loss.
