Or, alternatively, you might want to evaluate La Cumbre Backup.
It can perform managed standby recovery (and refreshes) from your
primary (compatible for V7.3 to 8). It can also activate your
standby upon failure of the primary.

You'll need a web server, such as OWAS, Apache or Netscape to get it up and running.
