Veritas FileSystem & Quick I/O on Solaris

Hi,

Has anyone tried VxFS and Quick I/O on Solaris 2.6 ? What version of the software were you using ? Any performance problem ?

I was told VxFS 3.3.1 & QIO 3.3.1.1 where the latest & solves a lot of problems ( crashes & performance issue ), but Sun is not supporting = it
due to "Compatibility issues".

Anyone knows what is the problem ?
I'll be running Oracle8 Database Server only, no Clustering Software, no = ACL,
no other 3rd party software.
Does the compatibility issue affects me ?
