In Oracle 805 for Solaris, there is net8wiz.sh and net8asst.sh in $ORACLE_HOME/bin, seems to be the Unix version of Net8 Easy Config and Net8 Assistant. They are the shell scripts that start the actual java programs.

I always edit tnsnames.ora and listener.ora directly.
