Hello,

I've found a Technical Article: "Fitch & Mather" in the MSDN recently. Sample also contains Database Diagrams and UML model.

I'd like to know your opinion on this TA, especially about DRI alternatives using PRE-triggers and whether the OO-paradigma (ORACLE)
can give us the better solution.

What is the difference between putting rolback into the trigger (on a server)
instead of using an exception mechanism in a client (pros and cons)?

I am also curious about tools used on DB2/400 and ORACLE platforms for the database and application modeling.

Does ORACLE provide a tool for creating database diagrams (and generate respective scripts) using the UML?

What tools are available on DB2/400?

If someone tried to port this sample under DB2/400 and/or ORACLE and is willing to share it with us it would be great...
