Job Failures Enterprise Manager

I am trying to schedule and run jobs from Enterprise Manager on 7.3.3. I've done navigator discovery and am sure the agent is running. I create a job and try to run it either immediately or at a scheduled time and they always fail with no description of why. I've tried doing different things in the jobs like shutting down the db, running a backup script but always the same result.

Can anyone help? Is there somewhere on the system where I can get more diagnostic information, log or trace files about why the jobs are failing?
