HELP! ASP and Date Format Problem

Help!

I'm using Active Server Pages to interface with an existing Oracle database.

When I try to use an ADO Recordset to update a record with a new date, I get errors. Apparently VBScript will not allow me to put a date in a recordset field in a format that Oracle will accept. Others must have encountered this problem. Is there an easy solution?
