Desparate Help Needed!

Can anyone help me run the necessary commands to recreate my oracle 8 service?

I recently upgraded to Backoffice 4.5 from 4.0 and since then my oracle 8 service on starting abnormally terminates with a generic warning.

When the OracleStart service starts it tries to start my database service and then it looks good until i get event id 12 or 16 (warnings) in the event log and all it says is that oracle 8 service terminated because of an internal shutdown process.
