Its always difficult to tell why oracle core dumps. The only things you can
do is either watch for any patterns leading up to dumps, you may find dodgy
code somewhere. I think some versions of unix comes with a utility to
enable you to interrogate core dump files for the problem although i think
it will report it at a very low level.
Try phoning Oracle?
