    (Sorry I couldn't resist that)

    The easiest and safest way is:

        do a full export of the database,
        make sure you have the scripts needed to reconstruct the DDL:,
        shut down the database and do a full backup,
        go into the installation manager and delete Oracle off of your
system,
        install the Enterprise edition from scratch,
        run your DDL scripts,
        import the data.

If it doesn't work just restore from your full backup.
