Zero iteration count ???

Hi,

this is an OCI question (Oracle 8.0.5 on Solaris 2.6) :

• if I prepare a statement handle for an INSERT-statement and thereafter execute the statement in OCI_DESCRIBE_ONLY mode ... only to get 'ORA-24333 zero iteration count' as the returned error string from OCIStmtExecute() - what did I do wrong ?
