Oracle Express Server

Hello!

We have downloaded the trial version of Oracle Express Server (server for solaris and client for WINNT).
We want to develop OLAP application.
We need to know whether the Client oracle express server can be connected to Oracle database resides in another NT.
Please suggest the necessary references to be made in this case.
