Thanks for the answer. However most of our customers run the system in production on ORACLE 7.2.3 and AIX 4.1.4 (or AIX 4.3.?). Upgrading them ASAP to 7.3.4 is pretty risky of course. They have not experienced problems with the system on 7.2.3 until now. We, on the other hand, got problems when we went from ORACLE 7.2.3 to ORACLE 7.3.4 on an AIX 4.3.? platform. We solved these with some "adjustments".
Do you know where I may find information about known problems concerning AIX and ORACLE 7.2.3 so I eventually may write a work-around on this problem?
