Take heart lad, get yerself a Linux PC, an Oracle 8.0.5 CD and be your own DBA.

Steal, uh copy, some scripts from the web and charge plenty per hour and you too can be a GLOBAL SERVICE provider. Charge too little and you will be found out to be a charlatan.

IBM Global is like Perot or any other service company. They get yer stuff and you are a slave. They have some skilled folks and lots of eater-breathers, a mixed bag.
