You don't ay what user you connected as. If you used the wrong user (e.g.
SYS or SYSTEM)


then you may have fragmented your SYSTEM tabelspace (which slows down all
catalog ops


and hence slows the entire database). It sounds like you may need some DBA
assistance or


training.
