One instance uniquely manages one database. So two instances for the same
database is impossible without parallel server. While there are no
restrictions in this respect (in theory you could have two parallel server
instances on one server), this is not advisable: it will require two systems
also.
If the purpose of this action is tuning consideration, you should tune the
init<sid>.ora first. Parallel server will impose extra overhead.
