Job: DB Developer for VoIP startup

ipVerse, Inc. is an early stage startup located in Silicon Valley, CA (Mountain View) developing next-generation Voice over IP solutions for local and long-distance service providers. We are currently looking for software developers who thrive in a startup environment and bring a "can-do" approach to problem solving. ipVerse is actively recruiting for the following position:

Database Software Developer
The Database Software Developer is responsible for the design and implementation of large-scale, high-performance database servers for Telecom applications with high throughput and performance requirements. Responsibilities include schema design, complex feature designs and real-time performance issues.

Requires 3+ years of experience in high-performance Oracle database product design and implementation. Proven expertise in Unix/C++ programming skills and OOD/OOP also required. Experience in developing applications on main-memory databases, distributed systems architecture and transaction monitors preferred. Knowledge and/or interest in new trends in the Telecommunications industry (IP Telephony, VoIP, etc.) highly preferred. BSCS or equivalent (MSCS or equivalent preferred) along with excellent written and verbal communication skills also required.
