I had no problem with the Oracle installer, in fact, thought the program to
be well designed and user friendly. However, I have heard from knowledgeable
friends that you need a *large* amount of free memory to avoid problems.

I am running a 256 meg 400 MHz Pentium 2 under NT4.0 service pack 4.
