On version 8 yes.

On version 7.3 (if I remember correctly) not really. The documentation claims full PL/SQL support for sub-queries but I found this was only true if you did not use any functions in the sub-query (and I think also outer joins caused problems). In the end, I gave up and re-wrote the program. It was annoying though, because the select statement worked perfectly well in SQL*Plus. Received on Sat Apr 17 1999 - 08:47:06 CDT
