Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.server -> turn off character set conversion in a session
Is there anyway to turn character set conversion off for a session?
I'm storing unicode data, but the database charset may not be
unicode. If NLS_LANG is set to UTF8 charset, it won't do conversions,
but it would be nice if there were something like Sybase's 'set char_convert
off'.
