Not sure about 3.0.1, either - is SP3 a valid w/a until SP5 arrives (haven't we seen this on NT3.51, too?)

It's a bug - the WRB looses sync, and tries to reconnect
over and over again, until you run out of memory.
Pity you didn't state the version exactly - I think you'll need
3.0.1.0.1
or 3011x.
