At my last job I had 7.2.2.4 running HPUX 10.20. I tested 804 and 805 upgrades. I used export/import and it went well.

I am not a person who say never use the migration tools. Sometimes, like NT 804 to 805, it is the best way. But I use it as little as possible.

Using export/import, the pressure is on you to create a new, safe, DB. Check out my paper at:
