Hi all,

I am sure many of you guys know the built-in AUDIT TRAIL option of Oracle server and all the audit records are stored in SYS.AUD$. Right ? The Oracle document suggested that one's better audited the SYS.AUD$ against some third party's updating and deleting it. But the problem is : How can you guard against someone TRUNCATING the SYS.AUD$??? I've tried it on my experimental server and found that when you TRUNCATE the SYS.AUD$, there was no audit record left behind. But is there any method to keep any log when someone(not you) truncate the SYS.AUD$ table ??
