Oracle8 and Vinca

Does anyone have experience running an Oracle 8 (or Oracle 7) database in ARCHIVELOG mode with Vinca Co-Standby Server on Windows NT4.0 Service Pack 4? Do you think this is a viable alternative for a 24x7 operation, as opposed to Microsoft Cluster Server w/ Oracle Fail Safe?
