Michael,

The Enterprise edition is licenced minimum of 8 concurrent devices per processor, whilst the Server edition is licenced minimum of 5 concurrent devices.

Note that there is no per processor restriction in the Server edition. Also note this information was taken from the Oracle UK Price List.

As with most software purchases, if you don't like the price negotiate until you
do !
