Hi Dave,

the password file is in %ORACLE_HOME%\database, and it is a hidden file. If you didn't move the software the password file also didn't move and shouldn't move. This is a fixed location. It should be no problem to recreate it, either by using oradim73 in command line mode to edit the instance or by using orapwd73 to recreate a new one.
