Hello,

> Hi all u programmers , i need some info about what Oracle is ....

Oracle is a company selling relational database management systems and related tools plus applications. Typically you mean Oracle server when you speak about Oracle. Usually RDBMS's are queried/programmed via SQL (Structured Query Language). Oracle can be considered to be the market leader in this area, but it is certainly not providing the best technology for your money on all areas. Competitors are Informix, Sybase, IBM and SAG.

Oracle provides for a complete set of enterprise standard applications (comparable to SAP R/3, Baan, or PeopleSoft) called Oracle Applications. Oracle Financials is the financial accounting part of it.
